SHARJAH

Sharjah, the third largest emirate of United Arab Emirates is a unique example of extraordinary cultural history. Sharjah offers its fair share of attractions and traditional values to an unassuming tourist. Catapulted to the ranks of Cultural Capital of the Arab World by UNESCO in 1998, Sharjah prefers to boast about its scenic waterfronts overlooking the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman, beautiful mosques, souks and the numerous well-maintained museums. Contrasting its traditional front are modern-day conveniences and modes of entertainment at waterfront hotels, apartments and restaurants.

Sharjah is two-hour, 10-minute drive from Abu Dhabi; and 30-minute drive from Dubai.
