The second edition of the ISLAMICA 500 was officially kicked off in Dubai at Hilton Jumeirah Beach Resort. In the private event that was held in the garden, 8 top personalities out of 500 selected received a leadership award for their remarkable achievements in the following categories: Art & Design; Islamic Banking; Cosmetics, Personal Care & Fashion; Insurance & Re-insurance; Information Technologies & Media; Islamic Financial Services; Tourism & Hospitality and Governments & Public. The nominees are from the UAE (5), KSA (1), Australia (1) and Italy (1).
The ISLAMICA 500 brings together outstanding personalities whose successes, leadership, ethics and relentless pursuit to make a difference will be a source of education and inspiration for highly successful people.
The one-of-a-kind guide of the Islamic economy contains the biography of each of the industry experts, whose efforts and achievements formed the basis of development of the Islamic economy on a global scale.
Mr Nehme Imad Darwiche, Chief Executive Officer of Jannah Hotels & Resorts, was ranked amongst the Top 50 personalities and awarded the Leadership Award 2017. “To be recognized by Islamic Economy is such a tremendous honor; especially alongside a list of many accredited members who play vital roles in building up the Islamic economy around the world.
