The Socrates Nomination Committee, in cooperation with its international partners, has put forward Jannah Hotels and Resorts and CEO, Nehme Imad Darwiche, for the ‘Best Enterprise’ and ‘Manager of the Year’ award. The award function is a part of the European Awards Night and Excellence in Quality and Management Forum which recognizes the success of international organizations involved with science, business and art and will take place on October 7th in Cannes, France.
The Socrates Committee vigorously investigates public opinion to discover the deserving nominees. The committee base their selection on an organization’s position in the international market, desire to continue global expansion, welfare of their workers, and the quality of customer satisfaction. On receiving the nomination, Nehme Darwiche said: “It’s a great honor to be recognized by such an established committee for this prestigious award. The nomination for ‘Best Enterprise’ truly reflects the hard work of each individual involved with Jannah Hotels & Resorts. We have instilled a fantastic work environment at each of our properties, and we will continue to do so to best serve our guests.”
A main factor that has led to Jannah’s selection for the award was the company’s rapid growth in the UAE. Jannah Hotels & Resorts continues to expand as an enterprise with developments in Abu Dhabi (Jannah Place City Center), Ras Al Khaima (Jannah Resort & Villas) and Dubai (Jannah Dubai Creek). Mr Darwiche has further ambitious expansion plans that will see the Jannah group aim to have 33 properties open across the gulf region by 2022.
